Water & Wastewater Projects
City of Caddo Mills
Obtained a $3,448,000 grant/loan funding package from USDA Rural Development for the City to construct a new 750,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant, 10,200 linear feet of interceptor sewers, and associated facilities.
Served as City Engineer (consultant) and oversaw the implementation of a $4,430,000 loan from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) for Citywide wastewater system improvements. Performed engineering duties associated with these two projects including design, project management and inspection.
Implemented mitigation actions to minimize environmental impacts associated with the construction of the new facilities. Client services included workshops, briefing the City Council, chairing public meetings, and preparing and submitting the grant proposal.
City of Cockrell Hill
Provided grant, environmental, design and construction management services engineering services for a $1,875,000 million TWDB subsidized loan. Project consisted of designing 17,000 LF of 6”, 8” and 12” water main improvements including fire hydrants, meters and mains.
Route surveys and coordination with existing utilities and the development of a baseline City wide hydraulic model was performed. Our team also provided construction management services for the first two phases of the newly designed water mains.
City of Celina
Performed grant, environmental, design and construction management services for a $4,480,000 project funded by the TWDB. Assisted Alan Plummer & Associates (APAI) in the design of the expansion to the City’s WWTP to increase the plant’s capacity from the existing 0.5 million gallons per day (MGD) to 0.75 MGD.
The project also included constructing a new interceptor sewer to connect a large housing development to a new regional treatment plant.
City of Azle
Obtained a $14,595,000 subsidized loan from the Texas Water Development Board through the Texas State Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Essayon Engineering assisted APAI in the design of civil engineering infrastructure and mapping of existing and proposed underground pipe conveyance systems to upgrade the existing wastewater treatment plant to 2.45 MGD.

Dallas County (CDBG)
City of Lancaster
Project Manager for 7,755 LF of 8” and 12” sewer lines ranging in depth from 8-25 feet. Construction included relocating existing utilities, connecting to septic tanks, and traffic control.
City of Glenn Heights
Project Manager for 5,300 LF of 8” water main installation along IH35. Construction included creek crossings, borings, and extensive community coordination.
